Paul "Ace" Frehley is an iconic American musician and songwriter, best known as the original lead guitarist of the legendary rock band KISS. Born on April 27, 1951, in The Bronx, New York, where he attended Dewitt Clinton High School and Theodore Roosevelt High School. He immediately had distinctive playing style, charismatic stage presence, and iconic "Spaceman" persona have made him a revered figure in the world of rock and roll. Frehley's musical journey began in the late 1960s when he formed a band called Wicked Lester, which eventually evolved into the groundbreaking rock group KISS. With his electrifying guitar solos and catchy riffs, Frehley contributed significantly to KISS's unique sound and image. During his tenure with KISS from 1973 to 1982, he co-wrote many of the band's most memorable songs, including the smash hit "Rock and Roll All Nite."
